The Miller Place Fire Department first opened its doors in 1952. Ever since then the department has been one of the cores of the Miller Place Community. The year 2007 sees the department headed up by Chief of Department William J. Curcie. Responding to over 1,000 calls each year, the volunteers of the MPFD are on call 24/7 365 days a year. We are located at 12 Miller Place Rd. in Miller Place. In the Fall of 2006 we saw our Station #2 open on Miller Place Yaphank Rd. We have instantly seen the benefits of our second station with quicker response times and shorter distances to travel for members that live south of Route 25A. We can be reached at (631) 473-2202.
