9-1-1 - YOUR EMERGENCY HOTLINE provides IMMEDIATE access to LAW ENFORCEMENT,
FIRE and EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

9-1-1 is a free call from a pay phone

WHEN TO USE 9-1-1::

Call 9-1-1 to report a Crime, Fire, Heart Attack, or other Serious Medical Condition or Injury or any situation requiring the IMMEDIATE response of a FIRE TRUCK, AMBULANCE or LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE.

WHAT THE 9-1-1 DISPATCHER WILL NEED TO KNOW:
1) the LOCATION of the emergency
2) the PHONE NUMBER where the emergency is
3) the NATURE of the emergency

IMPORTANT: STAY CALM. SPEAK CLEARLY. STAY ON THE PHONE UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO HANG UP.
